TAG: Would You Rather…..?

1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

Messy hair – I love the au natural look, book it just doesnt work for me. My skin is far to blotchy, and my eyes look sunken without makeup.

2. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

I would rather shave my eyebrows i think – At least you could draw them back on to some extent.

3. Would you rather be force to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

As much as I love MAC, i would probably have to say Sephora because of the different brands sold there. Its a shame theres none in the UK

4. Would you rather wear lipgloss/liner or 80′s perm?

I love the 80′s perm!! No contest!!

5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line, or overdone blush?

Probably obvious foundation line….too much blush is just wrong!

6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

MC Hammer pants

7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can’t be covered?

Probably the bad orange-y spray tan as it would fade out after a couple of days, and would be evenly covered.

8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?

Colour definitely – As at least there would be a way to correct it.

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

Probably Twitter. I have really gotten in to Twitter as of late, but i really dont think i could sacrifice youtube.

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

I couldnt live without mascara, so i would have to say brushes.

Festival Essentials for Girls….

I went to my first ever festival this summer…..Glastonbury!! I had the most amazing ever time and will hopefully be heading back next year.

In the weeks leading up to the festival, i scoured the net for ideas on what to take, but didnt find anything helpful at all! I have decided to put together my own ‘Essentials List’ based on my own experiences to help all the festival virgins out there!!

• WIPES WIPES AND WIPES – You would be a fool not to take a pack of wipes to a festival! They are so handy for wiping mud, general dirt or spilt beer (if your anything like me)
• Suncream – Fingers crossed the weather will be good for you and if it is anything like Glastonbury this year, you might even come home with a tan! Make sure you pick a suncream with a high SPF, preferably 30+
• Dry shampoo – After a couple of days of not showering, dry shampoo is a complete saviour and will really freshen up your hair and make it look less greasy.
• Tissues/Toilet roll – Because there aint gonna be any toilet roll in them portaloos!
• Antibac Gel – So hand for freshing your hands, especially after using the portaloos!
• Deodorant – Preferably a smaller can if possible to last you the weekend
• Moisturiser/Body cream
• Toothbrush & Toothpaste
• Medical supplies – Painkillers, plasters, antiseptic cream and allergy tablets.
• A Hat
• Makeup – Keep makeup minimal and do not take expensive items! I would recommend only take an eyeshadow pallet (with a variety of colours), foundation/tinted moisuriser, blusher & blusher brush, mascara and eyeliner. Also its wise to take a lipbalm, preferably with an SPF. You will also need a mirror. The small travel ones are really handy!
• Perfume – Take a small tester bottle is possible. I would not recommend taking expensive smellies in case they get stolen.
• Hair bands, clips and grips – Essential when your hair starts to get greasy!

and of course…..YOUR WELLIES!!   HAPPY CAMPING!!

An Update

Hi Everyone,

I have totally neglected my blog as of late. Ive been soo busy and havent had much to write about as im completely skint at the moment – purely because im saving for my spending money for my holiday in 3 weeks…….to LAS VEGAS!! So my lack of money means a lack of haul posts

Im sooo excited to be going to America, and cant wait to go on a complete spending spree!! Eeeek!!

In the meantime, i will try my best to post some new bits on my blog, but i would also like to thank everyone for still coming to my page. I am actually overwhelmed at the number of visitors i have had, so thank you

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner Review

I was actually really impressed with this eyeliner – It’s very long lasting, especially compared ot my other eyeliner of the moment (Benefit Bad Gal) and doesnt smudge. Its very easy to apply, so i would recommend it for anyone who is new to using eyeliners with a brush to give it a try – It may take a couple of attempts to master a perfect application though! So keep your eye makeup remover to hand.

One comment i have heard on the grapevine however, is that this product dries up very very quickly therefore making it clumpy and too dry to apply.

Nautical wear – Its back in this season and i love it! I purchased a gorgeous nautical style striped tee from H&M on Sunday (for £5 may i add!!) Im intending on purchasing a military blazer when i get paid too!

The cold weather – When is it ever going to end!!

Blonde hair – Or rather yellowy blonde hair. Thankfully i have now fixed this, and have opted for a mid-brown, Thanks to my BBF and her hair salon!! Pics up shortly.

Favourite perfume – Jan 2010

Its an old one, but a classic and seeing as i had a 50ml bottle for Christmas, it is my favourite perfume of the moment . . . . . . .Miss Dior Cherie.

Its just sooo darn sweet and long lasting, and the bottle is sooo classy – a design of perfection! Its just a shame that its soo expensive Lets just hope this bottle holds out until my birthday in the Summer!

Haiti Earthquake Appeal

I do want this blog to be all about fun, however I think I should highlight the Haiti earthquake appeal, and the need for donations to various charities to support the aid work.

 Donations are very much welcome I understand through the following charities. The support over there at the moment seems truly amazing, but is reliant on donations from the public. If you know of any further charities who are taking donations, please let me know.

 My blog is going to be about something that interests me a lot . . . . .Fashion & Beauty! Theres so many different subject areas to talk about, and so much relevance to everyday life.
